Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Radius, a community-focused mobile app for discovering and coordinating nearby Signals, groups, and connections.
Using Radius
You may use Radius only if you can legally enter into these Terms and comply with applicable laws. You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity under your account.
Community conduct
Radius is built for trusted, real-world communities. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or harm others;
- post illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, misleading, or abusive content;
- share another person’s private information without permission;
- spam, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service;
- use Radius for surveillance, stalking, or unsafe location tracking;
- attempt to bypass community boundaries, moderation decisions, rate limits, or security controls.
User content
You keep ownership of content you submit to Radius. You grant Radius a limited license to host, display, transmit, and process that content as needed to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed for content you share.
Location and safety
Radius may use approximate location features to help people discover nearby community activity. You are responsible for choosing what to share and when. Do not rely on Radius for emergencies, public safety, crisis response, or real-time tracking.
Moderation
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other action when we believe behavior violates these Terms, creates risk, or harms the Radius community. Reports can be submitted in the app or by contacting support.
Account deletion
You may request account deletion or support with your account by contacting hello@radius-app.org. Some records may be retained as required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or abuse prevention.
Third-party services
Radius may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, notifications, analytics, email, maps, or other app functions. Their services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
No warranties
Radius is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure operation, and we do not guarantee that Radius will meet every community’s needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Radius and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of Radius.
Changes
We may update these Terms as Radius evolves. Continued use of Radius after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
